PETERSONS FESTIVAL CAMPGROUND
Peterson’s Festival Campground is a twenty acre site in Kempt Shore, Hants co. Nova Scotia with 800 feet of sandy beach frontage on the beautiful Minas Basin at the mouth of the Avon River. This site has been set up for the Annual Acoustic Maritime Music Festival held on the third weekend in July and the Annual Kempt Shore Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Festival which is always the third weekend of August, it has twenty water/electric sites and hundreds of unserviced sites. The views and sunsets are gorgeous; there is a health clinic across the street, a quarry lake two minutes away and striped bass surf fishing from the beach. Two years ago we received a campground licence from Nova Scotia Tourism and are now looking to accommodate tours or groups, who want a back to nature type of experience.
